Here's what I can say: We wanted our 26-year-old Master Bathroom updated because it had a small vanity that my wife couldn't spread out all her potions and concoctions on (you ladies know what I'm talking about). I've never been able to make sense of slathering something on your face, then turn around and wipe it off.
The bathroom also had a 2-person jetted Jacuzzi tub that has only been used 4 times in 16 years, and there was the shower.... Imagine trying to shower in a phone booth (you young people have your parents explain what a phone booth is).
It wasn't for the claustrophobic. If you drop something in the shower, you had to step out to be able to pick it up.
Normally I have always done all of my own repairs and renovations, because I am obsessively picky about how I want things done, but my 76 year old body puts up a fight with my mind when I do those things now. So, I contacted Keith with Cook Construction to get some ideas and an estimate. I had some rough ideas of what I wanted done. Some of my ideas were ok and some of my ideas had fault. Keith explained in detail his thoughts and why some of his ideas were far better than mine. I'm so glad that I listened to him! Since my wife and I are on Social Security we had a conservative budget to work with.
I'm normally not short on words, but I can't find the words to describe the FANTASTIC job that Keith and his crew did on this bathroom!! His crew members are each specialists in one type of work. Not like the guy that says "Oh I can do it all" and not do any of the skills well. Keith has skilled craftsmen that specialize in their one skill - a guy just for drywall and texture, a guy that only does electrical, a guy that only does tile, a guy that only does glass, etc. All of these guys are very skilled in their craft.
The bathroom is a dream come true that is way beyond our expectations. The tub is gone, The shower is a walk in that is 4 times larger that the old one. The lighting and fan are fantastic. The new vanity is 84" long with 9 soft close drawers and 4 soft close doors. All the tile is, bright, and beautiful. The old large mirror that covered the wall has been replaced with 2 beautiful lighted and heated (to prevent fogging up) mirrors.
We absolutely love, love, love our new bathroom!! And the topper is that the whole project came in below budget! YEA! Keith and his crew are all Christian Brothers that won't settle for second best. We highly recommend Cook Construction and Renovation for your project.”
